Delivery Manager Contact Us How To Unpack Your Mattress We recommend you unboxing your mattress within 30 days. We recommend having a friend or two help set up your new mattress.
Remove the mattress from the box in the bedroom you would like to keep it in. Place vacuum-sealed mattress onto your bed base.
Unroll the first layer of plastic Unfold the mattress and align the top of the mattress with the top of the bed frame. Carefully use scissors to cut away the plastic wrapping.
Your mattress will begin to expand immediately! Cut the plastic around the perimeter of the mattress and remove.
The bed should be completely expanded in less than a minute! While your mattress can be used right away, we recommend giving it a full 24hrs to completely decompress.
Frequently Asked Questions Can I specify a delivery date? If you would like to change anything regarding the delivery of your Bear products we recommend signing up for Fedex Delivery Manager .
This free membership allows you to customize delivery times, request vacation holds, and even request the package to be held at a local Fedex facility for future pick up or deliver to a different address. How long can my mattress stay in the box?
We recommend you unbox you mattress within 30 days of delivery. How much is shipping?
Shipping is free to the US lower 48 states. Additional fees may apply for shipping to Alaska or Hawaii.
Do I need to be home for the delivery? No.
FedEx will drop off your Bear products right to your home (where you normally receive large packages). No signature is required, and you do not need to be home to accept delivery.

The mattress might take 24-48 hours to fully decompress depending on the length of time it was in the box. What foundation do you have your Bear mattress on?
Our beds are designed to lay on any hard, flat surface. We highly recommend the Bear Foundation paired with a bed frame.
Other options include a platform bed, adjustable flex bed, or the floor. We don't recommend using a traditional coil box spring, because it does not provide an evenly distributed surface area for foam-based mattresses.
How long have you been sleeping on your Bear mattress? Our bodies are all very different, and some people may need a bit more time to adjust to a new sleep surface and receiving proper support.

2019 Bear Hybrid The 2019 Bear Hybrid is Final Sale - No Trial, Returns, or Exchanges. This means those products are non-returnable, non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
This policy applies only to purchases made AFTER January 1, 2022. You may request a return of your mattress within 120 nights from the delivery date of your mattress.
We require a minimum trial of 30 nights before a return can be initiated. Your return time-frame begins based on the delivery confirmation date.
Only one return of any mattress per customer, household, and/or delivery address. Returns are valid on your first order only (even if you purchase a different mattress the second time).
You will be refunded for the cost of the mattress (less any discounts). In order to receive a refund, the mattress must be removed from your home by an authorized party of Brooklyn Bedding LLC and confirmed by Brooklyn Bedding LLC Bear will issue a full refund for the cost of the mattress (less any discounts) to the original form of payment.
Absolutely no refunds, exchanges or returns will be granted after 120 nights. Start a return by sending an email to returns@bearmattress.
